Becoming a member of a church is like joining a family.  We at DFC love family and love relating to you as a partaker in our family.  God's heart is that we belong and are planted in a group of fellow believers.  To start this process we have a membership course that we present over 2 evenings that will, in detail, explain what we are about and where we are heading as a church family.  For information on our next membership course please contact us on (021) 979 2803 or enquire at our resource table this Sunday.  We look forward to having you part of what God wants to do in our community.

 

IN A VOLUNTEER MINISTRY

There are numerous opportunities for you to get involved.  Below is a list of some of our Sunday morning service ministries where you can get involved and help out. 

Parking	Direct people to parking bays and control traffic after the service

Greeters	Welcome people into church and hand out pamphlets etc as necessary

Ushers	Help with emergency situations, seating and flow of people, handouts and collections, safety   and security, general operations of service, cleaning of hall.

Hospitality	Serve refreshments, clean up after services/functions and prepare for functions and communion

Resource Desk	Provide information re: DFC ministries/events etc as well as answer questions about DFC/refer to   appropriate person

Sound Team

Make sure sound system functions in all areas of the building and regulate sound during services
